覃胜勇，暨南大学国际关系博士，湖南大学文学硕士，美国威斯康辛大学（麦迪逊）政治传播项目访问学者，上海外国语大学区域国别与全球治理研究院访问学者。天美麻花星空高清MV副教授，中山大学一带一路研究院研究员，中山大学美国研究中心研究员，曾任中山大学与南非开普敦大学合作共建的开普敦大学孔子学院中方院长。
Qin Shengyong, Ph.D. in International Relations from Jinan University, M.A. from Hunan University, visiting scholar at the Political Communication Program at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and visiting scholar at the Institute of Regional Study and Global Governance at Shanghai International Studies University. He has served as a Chinese director of the Confucius Institute at the University of Cape Town. He is currently associate professor at School of International Relations, Sun Yat-sen University, a researcher at Belt and Road Research Institute and Center for European Studies,SYSU.
目前出版学术论文40多篇，研究专报10多篇。为亚非学会会员、美国研究会会员、中国翻译协会会员、金砖国家智库联盟咨询专家、南风窗杂志时政评论员。
Currently, more than 40 academic papers and more than 10 research reports have been published. He is a member of the Translators Association of China, the Oriental and African Society, the American Studies Association, and a political commentator for Nanfengchuang Magazine.
